Purpose of this role

The candidate will join the SMB Business Unit, which manages mid-sized to large accounts ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 employees. This BU offers tailored service solutions and pricing structures specifically designed to meet the needs of this market segment. Recognized for its dynamic and agile approach, the SMB BU continuously adapts to market changes, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving customer demands.

In our Learning & Development competitive market, the SMB team has the willingness to continue to growth. To do so, we are looking for a committed sales person in charge of leads generation for the Business unit, primarily working from CrossKnowledge’s office in Rueil-Malmaison (France), no remote work.

Key responsibilities

This sales representative wil be responsible for:

Lead Generation and Management

  • Generate leads through direct outreach, supported by the SMB sales team.
  • Manage and qualify leads originating from marketing campaigns.
  • Pass qualified leads to the SMB team to achieve prospecting targets.

Revenue Growth

  • Serve as the main point of contact for inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns.
  • Develop a scalable SMB sales methodology to effectively target and convert new clients.
  • Actively prospect and acquire new SMB accounts through direct outreach, focusing on short sales cycles.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Build and execute strategies with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to open doors for targeted accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Product, and Deployment teams to align strategies and ensure successful client acquisition and onboarding.
  • Use sales tools such as Sales Navigator, Lusha, and Sidetrade creatively to enhance your sales approach.

Reporting and Alignment

  • Provide visibility into business opportunities using reporting tools like Salesforce.
  • Ensure alignment with product, sales, and marketing teams to achieve revenue and account acquisition targets.

Profile & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in selling technology and solutions in a B2B environment (minimum of 2 years).
  • Experience in lead generation and at least one sales role.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • BS Degree in Business or Marketing is desirable; a combination of education and experience can substitute for formal education.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Limited travel required (2-3 times a year).
